In the framework of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of Freedom, a great variety of initiatives and events are to be held throughout Poland. The Polish diaspora, embassies, consulates and Polish Institutes abroad also participate in celebrations through active promotion of the success of the Polish transformation in more than 120 cities around the world.
Commfort Group shall participate in the unveiling of the Memorial of Free Speech, which honours the achievements of thousands of Poles involved in the underground publishing movement prior to 1989. The construction of the Memorial of Free Speech was carried out under the honorary patronage of President Bronisław Komorowski, who shall unveil it together with the Mayor of Warsaw, Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz on 5 June.
On the same day, the President shall with present awards those who fought for Poland’s freedom before 1989, as well as those who have made good use of it over the last 25 years in different spheres of activity. The function shall take place in the Presidential Palace.
